Our wedding 11.9.19

Just over a month ago we got hitched! If you follow me on social media, you are well aware due to my excessive posting of photos. After a long engagement, being married feels incredible. Our wedding was in Scottsdale, AZ surrounded by 100 of our closest family and friends. There is no greater feeling than the love and support that we felt that day.

The weekend started out with a little pampering sesh for my girls and I. We had an outing for manis & pedis and enjoyed mimosas together. Having this little bit of girl time was a must! So special to have a little time alone. Next was our rehearsal dinner at Pomelo Phoenix. This was so much fun. The wedding party took 'Ollie the Trolley' to the dinner and we were able to enjoy a cocktail on the ride. Once we arrived, we got to enjoy a fabulous Mexican style dinner with yummy beverages and great aesthetics. We had so much fun, this was a great kick off to the big weekend. Later that evening, many of our guests gathered together outside at Talking Stick Resort to catch up or get to know one another if they hadn't yet met!

The next morning was wedding day! I had a relaxing morning sipping coffee on our balcony overlooking the mountains prior to going to get ready with the ladies. Ryan hosted a get together for guests and groomsmen to hang out at Top Golf prior to wedding festivities. After getting ready and doing our first look at the golf course, both of our nerves were calmed! I never thought I would be nervous but I definitely was the morning of! Seeing Ryan made everything better.

The wedding ceremony was perfect. We wrote our own vows which was very special to us. Our officiant was a long time friend of Ryan's who did an absolutely incredible job and made it so personal to our story. After the ceremony, there was a cocktail hour with live music, followed by dinner, speeches, and a night of dancing. We ended the night with a sparkler exit onto a golf cart that took us back to the resort <3

I wanted to share with you some of the vendors that we were lucky enough to have make our day magical.

1. Wedding planner: Pop the Cork Productions, specifically Janet Mitchell, was the mastermind behind our wedding day. She is a saint - such a great listener, such attention to detail, and fun to work with! 100 % recommend her to anyone (everyone) who is getting married in the Phoenix area.

2. Venue: Talking Stick Golf Club. This venue was perfect for us. We wanted the ceremony and reception to be outside so all of our guests (mostly from MN) could enjoy the gorgeous fall weather in AZ. The clubhouse overlooks the golf course as well as the mountains and the views are breathtaking. The event staff were remarkable and made our day so special. The food was also excellent and they were so accommodating with our ideas and the other vendors coming in. They also included a round of golf for us and the course is very enjoyable to play!

3. Photography: Shea Brie Photography. Shea is an incredibly talented photographer. She took all of our engagement and wedding photos and we are so happy with them! She captures the sunlight in incredible ways and has a very unique style that we love. She took all of the photos included in this post. She also pays attention to detail and does sweet little things for her couples - sending us little gifts in the mail throughout the process :)

4. Flowers: Dei-Zinz. Flowers were so important to me. I love luscious bouquets and wanted to incorporate the desert theme into our flowers. Dei-Zinz was very fun to work with and made my vision come alive just perfectly! They are very flexible and can please any bride's style!

5. Hair: Primp & Blow. All of my girls and I got our hair done at Primp and Blow. They did an exceptional job and the salon has a very relaxing vibe. I got my makeup done with them as well and was thrilled with how it turned out. They are great at accommodating a bridal party and allowed us to bring in food/drinks as well. Definitely recommend! I got a blow out there several weeks prior to the wedding and that was awesome as well.

6. Music. Jonathan Levingston was our violinist for the ceremony and cocktail hour. He isn't just any violinist - he. has. style. All of out guests raved about him!

There were other vendors that we utilized that were amazing but these are the ones I've been asked most about! If you are curious about anything else, just give me a shout!

xoxo - Mrs. Fincham (Dr. Casper ;))
